How to register?

Pre-registration

The first step in participating in the Raid 4L Trophy is online pre-registration. You must fill in the pre-registration form, which you will find by clicking on the ‘Take part in the Adventure’ tab on the left of the screen. Once you’ve completed the form, validate it, print it and return it to us at the address indicated, accompanied by a cheque for 400€ for the pre-registration deposit.You will soon receive a confirmation email and also confirmation by post of your pre-registration, which will include your crew number. You’ll be registered on the 4L Trophy files and will receive regular newsletters.The 2010 tariff is 3,100€.Depending on when you pre-register, you can take advantage of preferential tariffs:
• Early Bird pre-registration (before March 31st 2009): 250€ discount on your registration fees.
• Privilege pre-registration (from 1 April to May 31st 2009): 200€ discount on your registration fees.
• Classic pre-registration (from June 1st to December 20th – please note that the quota may be reached before 20 December): Standard tariff without discount is 3,100€


Why pre-register early?

By pre-registering early, you ensure that:
        • you’ve reserved yourself a place in the rally
        • you benefit from a discount on the tariff (before 31 May)
        • you have proof of pre-registration, which will be useful to you when seeking partners and sponsors
        • you are supported in your preparations - the 4L Trophy organisers will share with you in advance all the useful tips that will help you to prepare for departure.

Cancellation of your pre-registration
If, for whatever reason, you decide you no longer wish to participate in the 4L Trophy Adventure, you will be reimbursed 350€ of your 400€ deposit (50€ being retained to cover administrative costs). You must cancel your pre-inscription in writing, by registered post, prior to 12/20/09 (as confirmed by the postmark). Please do not include any other document in the envelope. This procedure is obligatory if reimbursement is sought. Reimbursements will be made once all the dossiers have been received and registration has closed.


Registration
If you have pre-registered for the rally, in the course of November you will receive by post a registration confirmation form and your invoice. On the form, please give your names, passport numbers, driving licence numbers and the information featuring on the vehicle registration papers of your 4L. This form, together with a cheque for the required amount, is to be returned to us before 20 December 2009 (as confirmed by the postmark). After this date, no further registrations will be accepted.
At this stage, you can if you wish take out cancellation insurance.
